  377. Hi Martin.  Well, I can tell you that I sign mine.  Also, I have
  378. had very good luck receiving cards with sigs on them.  Many of
  379. my received cards are from contest Qs and I don't think I
  380. have ever received a card that was not usable for credit.
  381.  
  382. I have received credit for cards that were not signed, but they
  383. have probably been for *easy* countries.  I suspect the rare
  384. ones get scrutinized a little closer.

  473.     When I tried to find out about this (after scouring the manual), I 
  474. finally resorted to using the out of band receive feature to eliminate the 
  475. feedback.  IE, the repeater I wanted was on 44x.xxx, and I wanted to go in on a
  476. 2m freq, say 146.xxx.  I programmed the radio to receive on the 440 rptr output
  477. , but transmitted on the 2m freq.  Only problem here, is that you can't hear 
  478. the frequency you are trransmitting on.  Hope this helps.

  494. know exactly what to substitute to get the output I need from the foreign
  495. source.  One more problem is I need to have this built buy October 5 (it will
  496. be leaving with my brother then).
